As the waste producer you remain co-responsible for what happens to your waste — even after it leaves your site. Every residual stream must be classified under the correct EURAL code, transported by a registered collector and processed to the LAP3 minimum standard. IAM classifies your streams, organises the route and keeps the administration correct, from consignment note to processing certificate. You demonstrably comply with the law while keeping a grip on the cost and sustainability of every residual stream.
EURAL code per stream
The EURAL code determines whether a stream is hazardous and which processing route is allowed. A wrong code leads to rejection or fines.
Chain responsibility
You must be able to demonstrate that your waste was transported and processed by registered parties. Only work with VIHB-registered collectors.
Administration & reporting
Keep consignment notes and processing certificates for five years. Periodic reporting shows volumes, costs and savings opportunities.

Can multiple residual streams go into one contract?
Yes. Especially for manufacturers we combine streams — from process liquids to packaging — into one schedule with one contact and one report.
What does separation at the source deliver?
Clean mono-streams are cheaper to process and sometimes even have value. Source separation lowers residual-waste costs and improves sustainability reporting.
What happens with a rejected batch or production waste of unknown composition?
We take a sample, have it analysed and determine the EURAL code and permitted processing route on that basis — only then is it removed.
Does IAM also support sustainability and CSRD reporting?
Yes. Our periodic reporting shows volumes, processing routes and recycling percentages per residual stream. You can use that data directly to substantiate CO₂, CSRD and customer reports, and it shows the effect of source separation and process changes on your waste footprint.
