What is oily waste?
Oily waste covers all residual streams contaminated with mineral or synthetic oil — from cleaning cloths, absorbent granules and oil filters to oily sludge and oil-water mixtures. Because of the oil content it is usually classified as hazardous waste under a EURAL code and may not go in commercial or residual waste. IAM assesses the stream, collects it and has it processed responsibly.
