Construction & demolition waste (asbestos, granulate)

Demolition and renovation release hazardous residual streams that must be disposed of in a certified way. IAM arranges the disposal of asbestos, tar-containing granulate, mineral wool and other hazardous demolition waste — even at large volumes.

What is construction & demolition waste?

Construction, demolition and renovation produce residual streams ranging from inert rubble to hazardous streams such as asbestos and tar-containing asphalt. Well separated at source, much material can be recycled; hazardous fractions require certified disposal and watertight documentation. IAM classifies each stream and arranges the full disposal.

Frequently asked questions

Is construction and demolition waste collected separately?

Yes. By separating streams at the source, as much material as possible is recycled and processing becomes higher-grade and more cost-effective.

Can IAM also dispose of hazardous construction streams?

Yes, such as suspected asbestos material, tar-containing asphalt and chemical residues — with the right permits and documentation.

Does IAM also work on large construction and demolition projects?

Yes, we handle collection and disposal for large volumes with on-site containers and complete documentation.

Does IAM supply containers on site?

Yes. We supply suitable containers for your project and coordinate placement, exchange and collection to fit your planning.

Do I receive documentation when construction waste is disposed of?

Yes. With every collection you receive the correct accompanying documentation, so the chain is demonstrable and audit-proof — including for hazardous streams.
