What is fire-extinguishing water?

Fire-extinguishing water is the water remaining after a fire or fire drill that has become contaminated with soot, firefighting foam, oils, chemicals or heavy metals. Because of this contamination it may not enter the sewer or surface water and must be disposed of as (hazardous) waste. IAM provides fast pumping and responsible, documented processing.
