Have process water collected

Process water from production and industrial processes is often contaminated and generally may not be discharged. IAM pumps process water on site, transports it ADR-authorised and has it processed responsibly.

What is process water?

Process water is water used in a production or treatment process that becomes contaminated with, for example, oils, chemicals, metals or suspended solids. Its composition determines whether it is classified as hazardous waste under a EURAL code and which processing route is required. IAM assesses the stream, pumps it on site and arranges compliant disposal.

Which process-water streams do we collect?

Production process water

Water from production and treatment lines.

Metal-bearing process water

Process water with dissolved or suspended metals.

Oily process water

Process water mixed with oil or emulsions.

Chemical process water

Water with chemical residues from processes.

Cooling & boiler water

Contaminated cooling and boiler water.

Buffer & collected water

Water from buffers, collection tanks and drip trays.

Why choose IAM?

Fast collection throughout the Netherlands

Collection often within a few working days

ADR-authorised transport

Certified processing partners

Legally correct waste documentation

One point of contact for the entire process

Multiple waste streams combined in one collection

How does it work?

1

Assessment & classification

We assess the composition and determine the correct EURAL code and processing route.

2

Planning & collection

We plan a fixed or one-off collection, coordinated on site.

3

ADR transport & processing

The stream is transported ADR-authorised and processed at certified facilities.

4

Documentation & completion

You receive the full chain and processing documentation, audit-proof.

Regulations & certification

Compliant from collection to processing

The right permits, EURAL classification and watertight paperwork — IAM arranges it end to end.

EURAL codes we handle

The most common codes for this stream. Unsure about the right code? We help you classify it.

Frequently asked questions

May process water be discharged to the sewer?

Usually not. Contaminated process water must be collected and processed as (hazardous) waste. We assess the stream and arrange compliant disposal.

Which volumes can IAM pump?

From a single IBC to tanker volumes, pumped on site and removed ADR-authorised.

Is an analysis required?

For unknown or complex streams we arrange a sample analysis to determine the correct EURAL code and processing route.

Do I receive documentation on disposal?

Yes, with every disposal you receive watertight chain documentation, so the chain is demonstrably compliant.
