Compliance

Compliance for transport and logistics

Transport companies with their own workshop and wash bay produce more hazardous waste than often assumed: waste oil, filters, brake fluid, AdBlue residues, batteries plus the sludge and rinse water from the wash bay. All these streams are subject to registration and separation. IAM bundles removal for one or more sites into one schedule with one report.

Wash-bay water & sludge

Rinse water and the sludge from the oil-water separator are hazardous waste; periodic emptying and registration is mandatory.

Workshop waste

Oil, filters, coolant and brake fluid, batteries and aerosols are stored separately and removed with consignment notes.

Multiple sites

One framework agreement for all locations: the same packaging, one contact and consolidated reporting per site.

We plan collection around your operation: pickups outside peak hours, fixed contacts per site and packaging that fits workshop and wash bay. We consolidate the administration at company level, giving you one quarterly overview of all streams, volumes and costs — useful for your own sustainability reporting towards shippers and clients.

Waste management for the transport sector

Workshops, fleets and logistics sites generate many different residual streams: waste oil, oil filters, coolant and brake fluid, batteries, cleaning cloths, AdBlue residues and commercial waste. IAM bundles these streams in a single arrangement, collects them on fixed or one-off routes and ensures demonstrable, certified processing — so you can focus on transport.

Frequently asked questions

Which waste streams does IAM handle for transport companies?

Among others waste oil, oil filters, coolant and brake fluid, batteries, AdBlue and fuel residues and commercial waste — bundled in one arrangement.

Can IAM collect on fixed routes?

Yes, we plan fixed or one-off collection routes coordinated to your sites and volumes.

Do I receive compensation for waste oil?

For valuable streams such as waste oil, compensation is often possible, depending on volume and quality.

Do I receive documentation on disposal?

Yes, you receive watertight chain documentation for every stream removed.

What happens to the water from our wash bay?

Rinse water is pumped off and processed at a certified facility; the oil and sludge fraction gets its own route. You receive a consignment note per removal.

Do you also take batteries and tyres?

We remove batteries as hazardous waste; for tyres and other streams we organise the right route through our processing network.

Can all sites fall under one contract?

Yes. We plan a suitable schedule per site and consolidate administration and reporting at company level.

How does this help with sustainability reporting?

Our reporting shows volumes and processing routes per stream. You can use those figures directly in CO₂ and CSRD reports or tenders.
